Yoga is the power of building a bridge between our physical, mental and spiritual self.
Yoga to me, is the most important practice we as humans can do. Yoga asanas (poses) can heal our body, can build strength, flexibility, improve our biological wellbeing, balance our hormones, and support a healthy mental well-being.
In my classes, we touch on all areas of yoga, with a main focus on Asanas, Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation.
Everyone is welcome, I adapt my classes to the needs of my students, providing variations for beginners and those that are intermediate and advanced. So despite your current yoga abilities or age, you will feel comfortable, safe and will be given the space to do what is right for you and your body.
I am Yoga Alliance certified; I am trained in multi style (Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin). I studied in person at an Indian school, so have had the wonders and teachings of India channeled through to me, which shines through in my Yoga classes.
From spending many years travelling around the world, I feel very lucky to have learnt a lot of wisdom from Yoga Teachers, Monks, and Yoga devotees, whom have shared meditation and pranayama techniques with me. From weeks staying in the jungle in Thailand in silence, learning mediation practice by Monks and natural healers, to doing 5 hours of vinyasa classes in 37 degrees heat, to eating Ayurvedic food and understanding the connection between food and our physical and mental well-being… I bring it all subtly and gently to the mat to share with you.
My classes are fun yet disciplined, relaxing yet energising, educational but so gentle, a space to learn and grow, unwind and be present. 1 or 1.5 hours, just for you, to connect with your mind and body, to turn within and give yourself what you deserve.
Come and join me on the mat!
